Kelly Albert

Crawford and Company (Canada) Inc.

Kelly Albert joined Crawford and Company (Canada) Inc. in 2014, in his role as National Account Executive he is responsible for developing client strategies with respect to risk management and claims adjustment. Kelly’s previous 23 years in the insurance industry includes appraisal, claims adjusting, claims management, catastrophe management, broker, high performance team building and coaching. Kelly received Crawford’s National Award for Entrepreneurial Spirit. In 2021 Kelly received the Crawford Customer Hero Award, in conjunction with the Crawford Founders Day, celebrating 80 years in business.

Barry Haggis

Young & Haggis

Barry is a third generation insurance broker who has been in the insurance industry since 2011, and is the President of Young & Haggis Insurance. Barry is also the incoming President of the IBAA and previously served as President of the PYIB. Barry was named as one of the top 35 Canadian insurance industry’s most promising young stars in 2019 from Insurance Business Canada.

Barry is very excited to work with the Leaders in Insurance Charity Classic to support such great causes.

Diane Jones

Trufla Technology

Diane was with Silvercrest Insurance Group for 18 years and was Managing Partner when the firm was acquired by another brokerage. She was also the founder and Chair of the Silvercrest Charity Golf Tournament for 10 years. Diane has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Minor of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development.

Kevin Lea

Fuse Insurance

Kevin Lea is the President and Co-founder of Fuse Insurance, the 2019 Insurance Business Canada Small Brokerage of the Year. Fuse Insurance has also been recognized for its use of technology as a finalist in the 2021 Insurance-Canada Technology Awards, a 2021 finalist for IBCA’s Digital Innovator of the Year Award and as one of Startup Calgary’s Top 15 Tech Start-ups in 2020.

Kevin is a current board member of the Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta and the chair of IBAC’s national Young Broker Advisory Council. He also served as the President of the Professional Young Insurance Brokers of Alberta for the 2019-2020 term.

Jason Moore

Gallagher Energy Risk Services

Jason began his career in 2007 at The Co-operators as a field adjuster, specializing in bodily injury litigation claims.  In 2013, Jason worked in a brokerage as a Claims Advocate with Marsh where he managed the claims process and assisted in settlement negotiations for a variety of clients including many large energy clients.  In 2017, Jason transitioned into a producer role where he was responsible for the negotiation and placement of insurance programs for a variety of clients.

Jason moved to Gallagher Energy in January 2020 to specialize in the energy market and works primarily as an Account Manager assisting Director’s in the placement and negotiation of insurance programs.  Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Calgary as well as his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Certified Risk Management (CRM) designations.

Bruce Rabik is the COO of Acera Insurance. Prior to the merger, Bruce was COO of Rogers Insurance and the group of companies for 20 years. Before joining Rogers Insurance, he worked as an underwriter, a business consultant to brokerages across Canada as an independent and as part of Trivest – the first broker consolidator in Canada. He holds a graduate degree in HR Management and undergraduate degrees in Economics and business.

Bruce has been involved in numerous brokerage mergers and acquisitions throughout Canada. He is proud of the fact that the Rogers Insurance, now Acera Insurance, team has been awarded more top employer awards than any other company in the insurance industry in Canada.
