Kelly Albert is a National Account Executive at Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc., where he develops client strategies for risk management and claims adjustment. With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Kelly has held roles in appraisal, claims adjusting and management, catastrophe response, brokerage, and high-performance team building.

A recognized industry leader, Kelly has been honored with Crawford’s National Award for Entrepreneurial Spirit and the 2021 Crawford Customer Hero Award, celebrating his dedication to client service and innovation.

Kelly is excited to support the Leaders in Insurance Charity Classic, contributing to meaningful industry initiatives and community impact.

Barry Haggis

Young & Haggis

Barry Haggis is a third-generation insurance broker and President of Young & Haggis Insurance, bringing over a decade of industry experience since starting his career in 2011. A respected leader in the brokerage community, Barry is a past President of the Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta (IBAA) and the Professional Young Insurance Brokers (PYIB).

Recognized as one of Insurance Business Canada’s Top 35 Young Stars in 2019, Barry is passionate about driving innovation and leadership in the industry. He is excited to support the Leaders in Insurance Charity Classic, contributing to meaningful causes that bring the insurance community together.

Diane Jones

Trufla Technology

Diane Jones is the Vice President, Client Success at Trufla Technology, bringing a unique blend of technology, insurance, and client success expertise to the industry. Before transitioning to insurtech, Diane spent 18 years at Silvercrest Insurance Group, where she rose to Managing Partner before the firm’s acquisition by another brokerage.

Passionate about giving back, Diane founded and chaired the Silvercrest Charity Golf Tournament for 10 years, demonstrating her dedication to community and industry philanthropy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with a Minor in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development, combining technical expertise with strategic business insight.

Now, as a Co-Chair of the Leaders in Insurance Charity Classic, Diane continues to champion industry collaboration and charitable initiatives, helping to make a lasting impact through the power of community.

Kevin Lea

Fuse Insurance

Kevin Lea is the Director of Digital Product Distribution at Axis Insurance Managers, leveraging his expertise in insurance technology and digital distribution. As co-founder of Fuse Insurance Ltd., he helped establish it as a leader in digital brokerage, earning Insurance Business Canada’s Small Brokerage of the Year in 2019, 2022, and 2023. After Fuse was acquired by Axis in February 2025, Kevin transitioned into his current role to drive technology-forward solutions.

An active industry leader, Kevin serves on the Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta (IBAA) board and represents Alberta on IBAC’s national Technology Committee. He is also a past President of the Professional Young Insurance Brokers of Alberta (2019-2020).

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys giving back to the community—while also proudly holding the title of “okay-est golfer” on the Leaders in Insurance Charity Classic Board.

Erin Pelzer

Erin Pelzer is the National Business Development Director, Canada at Envista Forensics, bringing over 15 years of experience in sales, business development, and event management. With a strong background in both the hospitality and insurance industries, Erin is known for her ability to cultivate client relationships, develop strategic business solutions, and drive growth in high-performing environments.

A dedicated leader with expertise in business strategy, account management, and marketing, Erin excels in creating innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and profitability. Her adaptability and collaborative problem-solving approach have made her a valuable asset in every role she has taken on.

In 2025, Erin will be joining as Co-Chair of the Leaders in Insurance Charity Classic, leveraging her extensive experience in event planning and business development to support this impactful industry initiative. Passionate about fostering connections and giving back to the community, she is committed to making the event a success.

Evanne Shepherdson

Peace Hills Insurance

Evanne is the Personal Lines Manager at Peace Hills Insurance, where she brings a wealth of experience in the insurance industry, focusing on delivering innovative solutions and exceptional client service. Passionate about making a meaningful impact, Evanne also serves on the board for WICC Alberta, supporting cancer research and awareness initiatives.

With a strong dedication to leadership, mentorship, and philanthropy, Evanne is a respected figure in the industry, known for her strategic vision and ability to foster positive change.
